In today’s fast-paced business environment, most of organizations continuously seek different methods to improve different aspects such as efficiency, reducing waste, and maximize value for clients and users. Lean Management is one such methodology that has gained widespread adoption across a wide range of industries and business organizations. Originating from the Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Management, nowadays, provides a structured approach to process improvement, focusing on eliminating waste and optimizing productivity.

Dr. Pavelek’s commitment to international academic exchange continued during his doctoral studies. To incorporate comparative legal perspectives into his research, he undertook academic research stays at leading European institutions, including the law faculties of the University of Vienna in Austria and the University of Bremen in Germany. These international residencies allowed him to engage with foreign legal doctrines, conduct comparative legal analysis, and collaborate with European legal scholars, particularly in the realm of Germanic civil law traditions that heavily influence Czech private law.
