The office work has changed in last decades. The use of technologies, applications and software provides the work more efficient. Adopting new technologies for the office use allows to be more effective in the office work. However, this requires educated and trained workers able to use the new, digital technologies. The use of key digital competencies as effective e-mail communication, use of digital collaboration or meeting tools or management tools is highly demanded across business sector, but also in public sector. The course is designated to provide the insights to those areas, so participants, especially those in the ageing workforce population, will increase their competences.
The course will start with the introduction of the digital technologies for the office use and the importance of the topic. We will discuss the transformation of the workplaces by adopting new technologies and increasing the demand for workers with digital competencies. The next part of the course will be devoted to efficient e-mail communication and other forms of communication within the workplace. The use of the digital meeting tools will be another important topic, including the planning of the meetings, managing meetings and the use of different platforms to conduct meetings with focus on advantages and disadvantages of various platforms. The management tools will be included in the course as well. As many workplaces allow for the remote work, part of the course will be devoted to the mastering the remote work.
What You Will Learn:

• Understand and use meeting tools in appropriate way and know to use their functionalities for effective communication

Ľubomír is experienced researchers and lecturer. He has the occupation of associate professor and his focus is on macroeconomics, digitalization and methodology of academic work. In his research, he is focusing on the role of adopting new technologies, spill-over effects of foreign investment and on methodology of academic writing. He is also active in the fields of educational processes and their improvements. He like to implement new, modern and digital tools to educational process. As he is active also in the field of project preparation and implementation, he needs to be regularly updated by the use of new technologies for management and administration.
